Public Relations for Energy Initiatives

If the United States of America and her citizenry is to ever to break her addiction to foreign Middle Eastern oil, then they must work together. Currently the Department of Energy, the Bush administration and many other government agencies are working very hard on energy initiatives to ensure that the future of the United States is not cast into energy crisis.

Public relations programs for energy initiatives are so vitally important because they also spur on the release of capital into free markets and attract the best and brightest entrepreneurs who also invest big dollars in taking projects and business plans from seed to weed. In the United States of America entrepreneurship and innovation is strong and with a little help and push we can meet most of the goals on our energy initiatives and strategies.

It is recommended that good public relations programs from government, industry and financial backers are set in motion and work together. If the United States is to continue its forward progression in energy it must act seamlessly between free markets and government programs.

Of course, every so often there are issues with transparency and accountability in such programs where money is channeled to one set of business interests as opposed to another due to their friendliness with government officials. This causes conspiracy theorists to come out of the woodwork and complain that everything is a big trick and nothing will ever get done.

The fact is that nothing will get done if more people believe that it is a conspiracy theory and therefore their fears might end up a self-induced self-fulfilling prophecy. This is why it is so vitally important to exercise control to mitigate such concerns and have an excellent public-relations strategy for energy initiatives within our government. Please consider all this in 2006.
