Cover Letter - Be Assertive, It Works

Be Assertive In Your Cover Letter Close: Today, HR functions very differently. Being assertive is considered a strong quality, unlike being aggressive. So, lets be proactive by being assertive in your cover letter close. Ms. Ross, I do appreciate you taking the time to read my cover letter and resume. I will follow up with a personal call within the next two weeks and then do it, make the call. Companies want people who take charge, come in the door empowered, stop waiting to be asked, take the first step and be proactive, it works!

Style matters these days, you want the job, ask for it confidently. Remember assertive works, but there is a fine line. The best assertive approach is to back yourself up with an example of your working style. Its been my experience that just-in-time-inventory reduces monthly expenses and waste, and only works when we have at least six vendors. Confident, experienced and able to communicate .. thats the complete package. It starts with your cover letter.

Recruiters today are very professional, they can spot a potential empowered and confident individual a mile away. If being proactive and assertive is actually your style in regular every day, then write that way too. You appear confident and someone who knows who they are. Thats leadership strength, an asset to any employer. Remember you only have one opportunity to get this job, so be assertive and just have to go for it! Confidence always jumps off the page in your cover letter.
