Attracting Attention to Your MySpace Page

If you are looking for ways you can really attract some good attention to your MySpace page without upsetting people and driving hate traffic to your page there are several ways to do this. With the idea of having so much information all at your fingertips there is so much you can do and so much you can modify to help you really get the most attention in a positive way without being someone that people hate.

First golden rule of MySpace is no spamming. People certainly do not want someone on their friends list that is guilty of spamming. Whether you are looking for referrals or trying to sell something from the spam, it is never a fun experience for the recipient and will have them quickly removing you from their friends list. Avoid this behavior and you will be welcomed by most people rather than hated.

Second golden rule of MySpace is to always keep it up to date. People who never login and change their information are considered to be boring. While a daily update is not needed, you should change it more often than once a year. Just adding a couple of new pictures and stuff is always a good start to keeping your page updated enough to keep people coming back on a steady basis.

Third golden rule of MySpace is to always make sure your page looks nice. Nobody wants to visit a page on MySpace that looks boring and neglected. While you do not need to change your profile appearance all of the time, making sure that it looks nice is always good. This means that trying to see how much flashy, glittery stuff you can cram into one small area of your page is sure to run people off because of how hard it is to read. Instead, try to decide on a color scheme and select components that will fit together to look nice and keep people coming back.

As you can see, the rules of MySpace are quite simple and by following them, you can ensure that your page is some place that people actually want to visit without running the opposite direction. Remember, visiting your MySpace page should never be considered a form of torture. You should instead work hard to ensure that everyone enjoys coming to visit your page to see what new information and changes you make on occasion. As easy as MySpace is to use to stay in contact it will not be long before you are a MySpace addict.
